Ed Robinson Chief Executive Officer
Ed Robinson is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aptimize. He is responsible for Aptimize's business growth, revenue, product marketing, product management, and strategy.
Ed has 20 years experience in the Information technology industry in both the United States and New Zealand and has a global vision for adding business value with better technology and communications.
His background includes six years at Microsoft shipping Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, Microsoft Content Management Server, and Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server.
Ed Holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Otago.
Derek Watson Chief Technical Officer
Derek Watson is co-founder and Chief Technical Officer of Aptimize. He has a background in commercial software development since 1991.
Derek has significant hands-on experience designing and building enterprise class software systems. In his role as a technical consultant, he has previously worked with many high profile New Zealand private and public sector organizations.
He brings a wealth of knowledge to Aptimize in the application of established and emerging development patterns & practices, a solid grasp of applying agile product development methods, and experience in coaching high performance project teams.
Derek is the inventor and principle developer of the core Website Accelerator technology.
