How to: Configure browser for troubleshooting

To configure your browser for troubleshooting, you must clear the cache and set the network proxy.

 

Internet Explorer:

Clear cache: Automatic

Set network proxy: Automatic

 

Google Chrome:

Clear cache: Click the spanner icon on the top right of the window.  Click Under the Bonnet, then Clear browsing data. Make sure 'the beginning of time' is selected.

Set network proxy: Automatic

 

Mozilla Firefox:

Clear cache: Click Tools > Clear Recent History. Make sure 'Everything' is selected.

Set network proxy: Click Tools > Options.  On the Advanced tab, click Network, then Settings. Choose Manual proxy configuration, and enter 'localhost' with port 10278.
